Crocheting Fun

I saw these cute little booties online and decided I really wanted them, but didn't want to pay $20 for them. I thought maybe my mom could figure out how to make them just by looking at the picture, but turns out it's not that easy. So I ended up buying the pattern so she could make them for me and then I remembered that I knew how to crochet, granted it's been about 8 years. So after a few mishaps and with the help of some online tutorials, these are what I've come up with. This was my first pair of booties so they're not the best, but I love them. I now have three pairs of the little mary janes, and I think they're getting better as I go. I decided that my daughter might need a little variety to her shoe choices and created the flip flops. I know they wont stay on her feet, but I plan on putting a ribbon or little piece of elastic to go around her heel.

  2. WOW!! Linds - I am VERY impressed! How long does it take you to make these? If I'm having a girl, can I pay you to make me some? :)

  4. Heather- they take me a couple hours each, but I'm pretty slow, and I hope you have a girl because it would make me laugh.

Erin- I think it was sylverdesigns.com
